Actor Alden Richards continues to champion Philippine cinema, this time by organizing a block screening of the film Everything About My Wife featuring Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado.

Richards, known for his strong support of local films and fellow artists, took the initiative to host the screening after hearing positive reviews about the film. He emphasized the importance of industry solidarity and encouraging audiences to support quality Filipino productions.

Trillo and Mercado, the film’s lead stars, expressed their gratitude for Richards’ generosity.

Richards shares a long-standing professional relationship with both actors. He previously worked with Mercado on Wagas and I Can See You, and with Trillo on the upcoming series Pulang Araw. He also hinted at his eagerness to collaborate with them again in the future.

This isn’t the first time Richards has taken an active role in promoting local films. Last December, he hosted a special screening of Green Bones, further demonstrating his commitment to supporting Philippine cinema. Beyond film, he is also involved in concert production, co-producing the upcoming Manila show of ’90s boyband 98 Degrees.

Everything About My Wife is currently screening in cinemas nationwide, offering audiences the chance to experience its acclaimed storytelling and performances.
