Fans defend Alden Richards from Xian Gaza's remarks

Fans of actor Alden Richards came to his defense online after self-confessed scammer and self-proclaimed “Pambansang Marites” Xian Gaza made allegations against the actor in a recent Facebook post.

Gaza claimed that Richards became friends with a wealthy couple during the pandemic, when the actor was reportedly expressing frustration over restrictions affecting his tapings. According to Gaza, the couple generously allowed Richards to use their condominium unit for free.

“I lang taon na. Ayaw pang mag-move out. Ayaw pang isauli ‘yung condo. Inangkin na, nakakahiya. Confirmed. Chismis confirmed, one hundred percent,” Gaza claimed.

He further alleged that the couple had asked Richards to return the condominium unit, but the actor had continued staying there.

Gaza also claimed that Richards had yet to return six luxury watches he allegedly borrowed from the couple.

“Hindi pa natapos sa paghiram-hiram. Ang masama diyan, mars, kapag nanghiram si Alden, magpe-pray pa ‘yung mag-asawa, crossed fingers, na sana isauli niya kasi kapag nanghiram si Alden ng luxury item o luxury goods, hindi mo sure kung isasauli ba niya. Pahirapan ibalik,” Gaza alleged.

Richards’ supporters disputed the claims, with some questioning their credibility and pointing to the actor’s career and business ventures.

“Kaya bumili ni Alden ng kahit ilang condo at mamahaling relos… at kung sa baklang Xian Gaza ang nagbalita, malamang INGGIT LANG YAN KAY ALDEN… Kasi wala man lang siya sa KALINGKINGAN ni Alden Richards,” one fan commented.

Another netizen expressed disbelief, citing Richards’ charitable efforts and support for scholars.

“Di ako naniniwala dahil maraming scholar si Alden, marami siyang tinutulungan, sinusuportahan at pinag-aaral… netizen na makakapagpatunay niyan,” the fan said.

Another supporter questioned why Richards would allegedly need to borrow a condominium and luxury watches, given his numerous projects, endorsements, and business ventures.

“Si Alden, na maraming guesting, projects and endorsements, tapos may mga restaurants, McDonald’s, atbp., hindi niya ba afford ang condo at relong mamahalin? Baka siniraan lang ng source mo, Xian,” the netizen commented.

One fan also urged Richards to pursue legal action over the allegations.

“Kasuhan ka sana ni Alden, tapang-tapang, wala kasi sa Pinas,” the fan said.
