As she returns to the Philippines for business commitments, actress Liza Soberano has hinted at a potential project with her longtime on-screen partner, Enrique Gil.

During a press interview at her latest endorsement event for pet supplement brand Dr. Shiba, Soberano was asked about the possibility of reuniting with Gil for a project.

“We are trying to come up with a concept we can do together,” she revealed.

While she didn’t share specific details, Soberano assured fans that the idea is in development.

“In the future. I cannot guarantee it is in the next year, the concept needs to be fleshed out. It is something new,” she added.

In 2024, Soberano made her Hollywood debut in the film Lisa Frankenstein, starring alongside Kathryn Newton.

She and Gil have starred in several blockbuster films and TV series under ABS-CBN, with their last movie together being Alone Together (2019), followed by the TV series Make It With You in 2020.

Soberano and Gil are now under different talent agencies. In 2024, Soberano signed with a Singapore-based agency after parting ways with James Reid’s Careless Music, where she spent two years following her departure from Star Magic, the talent agency where she began her career.

While nothing is confirmed yet, fans remain hopeful for a LizQuen reunion in the near future.
