The Philippine Army on Tuesday warned the public against the widespread of fake information about the recruitment process for those who wish to join the service.
In a press conference at Camp Aguinaldo, Army spokesperson Col. Louie Dema-ala also dismissed information that the service is requesting any form of payment from the applicants as part of the application process.
“We also remind everyone that the Philippine Army does not accept payment of any kind from its applicants and aspiring soldiers,” he said.
Dema-ala urged netizens to utilize social media platforms wisely.
“The Philippine Army once again reminded the public that official recruitment announcements and online application forms will be found on the Join the Army's official website,” he said.
Dema-ala likewise urged the public to refrain from interacting with unverified pages or individuals claiming to be affiliated with the recruitment offices of the Philippine Army.
