President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. issued a statement on Sunday expressing deepest sympathies to the victims of the coined most destructive wildfire that swept through at least 37,000 acres of land area in the greater Los Angeles in California, United States of America (USA).
“On behalf of the Filipino people, I extend my deepest sympathies to all who have been affected by the devastating wildfires in Southern California, USA — a place that many of our kababayans call home,” Marcos said.
Marcos wishes “the community’s road to recovery begins with strength, compassion and solidarity.”
“Please stay safe and vigilant,” the President added.
