Two jobless residents were arrested by members of the Navotas City Police after a successful buy-bust operation.
Members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted the operation, which resulted in the arrest of “high-priority drug suspects.”
Based on information from Navotas City Police Station chief P/Col. Mario Cortes, the buy-bust operation was conducted around 11:30 p.m. last Friday at Governor Pascual Street in Barangay San Jose, Navotas City.
After accepting the P6,000 marked money from the poseur-buyer, the police arrested “Bong Bong” and “Jason,” both jobless.
Bong Bong is a resident of Barangay San Jose, while Jason is a resident of Barangay Daanghari, both in Navotas City.
Navotas City operatives recovered four packs of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 55 grams of shabu.
