LTFRB strips dormant TNCs’ operating licenses

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) revoked the operating authority and denied the accreditation renewal applications of two transport network companies (TNCs) after both entities failed to maintain required ride-hailing services, regulators announced Sunday.
The agency launched a formal inquiry into Leggo Information Technology Solutions and Aztech Solutions International Corporation following reports that both companies had ceased operations.
An LTFRB investigation subsequently confirmed that neither firm was operating an active platform for transport network vehicle services.
LTFRB acting chairperson Greg Pua Jr. stated that the cancellation serves as an enforcement warning to ride-hailing providers that fail to comply with franchise obligations and administrative standards.
"The granting of the Certificate of Accreditation comes with a responsibility, an obligation and a commitment to provide the best services to the commuting public," Pua said.
