
BALANGA CITY, Bataan — The Provincial Government has distributed MacBook laptops to some 3,234 public school teachers at the Bataan People’s Center here Thursday.
According to Governor Joet Garcia, the distribution of these MacBook laptops were for elementary and junior high school department heads in the province of Bataan, with the aim to boost the quality of education here.
The governor also cited that the Provincial Government aims to push the 100 percent use of the Learning Management System that will be passed down to these schools, adding that this will create an online database for teachers that will allow students to access various modules and learning resources.
Garcia expressed his gratitude to these modern-day heroes, citing that the teachers continue to do what their sworn duty to impart knowledge and sharpen the skills of each and every student of Bataan.
Vice Gov. Cris Garcia, Pusong Pinoy Partylist Rep. Cong. Jett Nisay, Department of Education Bataan SDS Dr. Carolina S. Violeta, Chairman on Education and 1st District Rep. Atty. Jomar Gaza, and Power Mac Center CEO Lawrence Sison were on hand during the distribution of the MacBook laptops.
Meanwhile, the Schools Division Office of Bataan said that all 37 Senior High School students who attended the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority National Certification (NC II) Assessment for Agricultural Crops Production successfully earned their certifications.
