CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – 537 Pampanga dialysis patients received much-needed financial relief on Saturday, 30 November, 2024, thanks to a generous Christmas initiative from Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda.

This timely assistance, part of the administration's Pamaskong Handog 2024 program, eased the substantial financial burden of their ongoing treatment. The initiative included a P2,000 cash gift per patient, along with essential groceries, rice, and other provisions.

Vice Governor Pineda, representing Governor Pineda, personally visited the patients, accompanied by Board Member Atty. Ananias Canlas Jr., to emphasize the administration's commitment to easing the financial strain of their ongoing medical care.

“Isa sa pangunahing layunin natin ang suportahan ang kalusugan at kagalingan ng ating mga kababayan," Pineda stressed.

"Kaya naman inilunsad natin ang programang Pamaskong Handog – umaasa tayo na ang maliit na tulong na ito, kasama na ang pinansiyal na tulong at mga mahahalagang bilihin, ay makatutulong na mapagaan ang pasanin ng kanilang patuloy na pangangalagang medikal, lalo na ngayong papalapit na ang Pasko,” the vice governor added.

The aid was distributed directly to each patient.

The substantial aid, Governor Pineda hopes, will bring much-needed holiday cheer to the patients and their families, easing the financial strain of ongoing dialysis treatment.
