Sen. Bong Go on Wednesday, 9 November, had his team organize a relief effort for disadvantaged residents in Cagayan de Oro City as part of his continuous efforts to uplift the lives of Filipinos amid the ongoing health crisis.
The senator's outreach team handed out masks, shirts, snacks, and vitamins to 436 residents at Barangay 33 gymnasium. They also provided shoes, cellular phones, bicycles, and umbrellas to select individuals.
Moreover, Go provided balls for basketball and volleyball as part of his advocacy to encourage more Filipinos to participate in sports activities and stay away from illegal drugs.
Meanwhile, a team from the Department of Social Welfare and Development also distributed financial assistance through its Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program.
The next day, Go's team provided similar assistance to more marginalized sectors in Binuangan.
