PCSO backs LAB for All caravan

As part of its commitment to public service, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) provided 1,500 Charitimba (food buckets) to families in need during the LAB for ALL Caravan held on 18 March 2025, in the province of Samar.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles personally attended the event at the Municipal Gymnasium of Basey, Samar, to show the agency’s full support for the initiative led by First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos.

The LAB for ALL Caravan is a nationwide program that provides free medical consultations, laboratory services, medicines and other assistance from both government agencies and private sector partners. Its goal is to ensure that every Filipino, regardless of location, has access to quality healthcare and social services.

The PCSO, meantime turned over 500 Charitimba or food packs to the 4th District of Quezon City in a ceremony held at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

The donation, under the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program, was received by Local Legislative Staff Officer III (LLSO III) Cecilie E. Ergina, on behalf of Councilor Nanette Castelo Daza.

Meanwhile, in a significant step toward disaster preparedness, the PCSO turned over 50 Emergency Go Bags to Barangay 503, Zone 50, District 4, Manila.

SK Chairperson Jhemil Anne A. Ilao received the go bags on behalf of the barangay from PCSO assistant general manager Arnel Casas, who represented PCSO General Manager Mel Robles.
