PCSO ranks among top GOCC dividend contributors

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has been recognized as one of the country's top-performing government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) after ranking among the top 15 contributors in dividend remittances to the National Government.
The recognition was conferred during the 2026 GOCC Day celebration at Malacañang Palace, led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Secretary Frederick Go.
Go said dividend remittances from GOCCs are a key source of government revenue that helps fund priority programs in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and other public services.
As one of the country's major revenue-generating GOCCs, the PCSO said it continues to balance its dual mandate of generating funds for charity while contributing to the National Government through dividend remittances.
The agency said revenues from its gaming operations support its charitable programs, including medical assistance, donations of patient transport vehicles, institutional partnerships, corporate social responsibility initiatives, and other services that benefit millions of Filipinos.
PCSO said its inclusion among the country's top dividend contributors reflects its commitment to sound fiscal management, transparency, and responsible governance while continuing to prioritize its charitable mission.
This year, 50 GOCCs collectively remitted a record ₱147.15 billion in dividends, a 29 percent increase from the previous year. Of the total, ₱140 billion has already been remitted to the National Government, with the remaining balance expected before the end of the year.
The PCSO said it remains committed to serving Filipinos by continuing to provide medical and health-related assistance while supporting the government's revenue generation and national development efforts.
