The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) conducted 3,866 “Oplan Bandillo” public information drives across the city from 10 to 16 October as part of an intensified campaign to boost crime prevention and community engagement, authorities reported Friday.

QCPD acting district director Brig. Gen. Christopher Olazo said the weeklong operation forms part of the police department’s ongoing strategy to strengthen public vigilance and foster active community participation in law enforcement initiatives.

Among the city’s 16 police stations, the Holy Spirit Police Station (PS 14) led the awareness campaign with 1,250 conducted activities. The Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) followed with 458 operations, while the Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station (PS 13) recorded 315 outreach drives.

Olazo stressed that effective crime prevention relies on an informed public and sustained police-community partnerships.

“Through the continued implementation of Oplan Bandillo, our goal is to strengthen public awareness, preparedness, and cooperation for a safer and more peaceful Quezon City,” Olazo said.
