PHLPost to host ASEAN postal leaders

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) will host postal leaders and representatives from ASEAN and partner countries for meetings aimed at strengthening cross-border e-commerce, logistics and postal services from 5 to 7 October 2026 in Manila.
The 32nd ASEAN Postal Business Meeting (APBM) and ASEANPOST++ Meeting will be held at the Manila Marriott Hotel, bringing together postal organizations from ASEAN and partner countries Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan and South Korea.
Discussions will focus on business initiatives and regional technical projects covering cross-border e-commerce, logistics, operational improvements and revenue growth.
Among the proposals are potential joint services that would combine customs clearance and last-mile delivery across participating postal networks, as well as measures to make cross-border returns more efficient for merchants and consumers.
Postal organizations will also explore the use of postal facilities and infrastructure for logistics and micro-fulfillment operations, allowing them to maximize their existing networks and physical assets.
Technology, innovation and sustainability initiatives will likewise be discussed during the three-day gathering.
The program will open on 5 October with an opening ceremony, followed by the ASEANPOST++ Meeting through the morning of 6 October. The APBM will convene that afternoon and conclude with the signing of agreements and decisions reached during the meeting.
The program will end on 7 October with a tour for delegates.
PHLPost said hosting the meetings strengthens its engagement with ASEAN postal organizations and supports regional efforts to develop more connected, efficient and commercially responsive postal networks.
