The K-pop superstar recently made headlines after donating a massive 1 billion KRW (approximately $745,600) to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital. The funds are earmarked for the hospital’s Integrated Care Center, specifically aimed at helping young patients from low-income families cover the cost of life-saving medical treatments.

This isn't the first time the global icon has stepped up for the facility. Back in April 2023, Jungkook gifted his first 1 billion KRW to the same institution. With his latest contribution, his total donations to the children’s hospital have reached an incredible 2 billion KRW (nearly $1.5 million)—providing holistic support, treatment, and relief to young patients and their loved ones during their toughest battles.

Philanthropy has long been a quiet staple of the star's career. Just last year, in March 2025, he contributed another 1 billion KRW to national relief efforts following severe wildfires in South Korea, directly supporting affected families and emergency response crews.

Meanwhile, Filipino ARMYs are already counting down the days as BTS prepares to bring their long-awaited world tour to the Philippines in March 2027.
