If there was one thing the Filipino fans of Girl Rules came for, it was the kilig — and the cast delivered!
The stars of the hit Thai GL series took over the SMX Convention Center Manila on 3 October for the Manila stop of their fan meeting, turning the venue into a celebration of music, fandom and all the on-screen chemistry fans couldn't get enough of.
The night kicked off with a group performance, followed by Emi Thasorn's rendition of “Forever Yours,” setting the mood for an evening packed with fan service, fun and feels.
But before the kilig could fully kick in, the cast made sure to connect with their Filipino supporters. ViewMim, MilkLove and NamtanFilm introduced themselves in Tagalog, earning cheers from the crowd before sharing their thoughts on being in Manila and their experiences working on Girl Rules.
And, of course, what is a fan meeting without a little musical treat?
The show's beloved pairings took the stage for special performances, with ViewMim singing “Something New,” MilkLove performing “Cross the Line” and NamtanFilm delivering “Favorite Toxic.” With the stars performing live in front of their fans, the moment was a treat for everyone who had been waiting to see their favorite duos together off-screen.
From iconic scenes to unfiltered chaos
The music was only the beginning. The cast also brought their playful side to the stage through games that had fans watching every move.
First up was “Role Play,” where ViewMim, MilkLove and NamtanFilm reenacted scenes from Girl Rules. For fans who had been living for the show's dramatic moments, seeing the pairs revisit those scenes in person was an experience of its own.
Then came “One Line, Many Emotions,” a challenge that put the stars' acting skills to the test. The rules were simple: deliver a given line according to an assigned emotion, whether shy, sad, or angry. The result? Familiar words with completely different vibes.
MilkLove took on the line, “Stay fair while you can, you turn yellow...,” while NamtanFilm got the question, “Am I cute?” The challenge gave the cast another chance to flex their acting chops outside their usual scenes, keeping the audience entertained along the way.
Beyond the performances and games, the fan meeting also made room for a more sentimental moment.
A Filipino fan project featured heartfelt messages for the cast, giving the artists a chance to see just how much their supporters appreciated them. The occasion carried extra meaning, as Manila marked the final stop of the Girl Rules fan meeting tour.
The cast also shared their gratitude, thanking Filipino fans for the love and support they had shown throughout the journey.
Of course, the night couldn't end without one final musical moment.
The cast delivered their own renditions of Gemini’s “What If” and LYKN’s “Would You Mind” before coming together for a final performance of “Girl Rules.” The closing number sent fans into one last round of cheers, wrapping up the night on a high note.
From live vocals and scene reenactments to chaotic game segments and emotional fan messages, the Manila fan meeting had all the ingredients of a memorable fandom moment.
