  • Issues just keep hounding EXO-CBX.

The legal dispute between Baekhyun, Chen, Xiumin and their agency, INB100, has entered another chapter after the trio sought to suspend their exclusive contracts through the courts.

The members have filed a lawsuit against the company, asking the court to suspend the validity of their exclusive agreements. According to Korean media reports, a Seoul district court recently held its first hearing on the case.

The three artists first announced in April that they intended to terminate their contracts, citing unresolved settlement payments and other contractual issues. They had formally notified INB100 of their decision a month earlier, but the dispute has since remained unresolved.

Baekhyun established INB100 in 2023, with Chen and Xiumin joining the label in January 2024. The company was later incorporated into One Hundred, headed by entertainment executive Cha Ga Won.

The ongoing conflict has also affected EXO’s group activities. When the group released its eighth full-length album, Reverxe, in January, Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin did not participate because of the contractual dispute involving INB100 and SM Entertainment.

The lawsuit marks the latest development in the high-profile legal battle, with fans closely watching the proceedings as they await the court’s decision and its possible impact on the trio’s future activities.
