Bermaz Auto Asia has taken charge of daily retail operations at Mazda C5 Pasig. The business transition took effect on 1 August 2026, following the end of an earlier management contract with Inchcape Philippines on 31 July.

The facility functions as an associated company under Bermaz Auto Philippines, which serves as the exclusive brand distributor in the country under Berjaya Philippines.

Ronette Tanjuatco oversees the facility as dealer principal under a dedicated leadership team. The company has run a regional automotive hub in Santa Rosa, Laguna since 2019, making the Pasig location an expansion into the Metro Manila retail market.

Longtime sales associates and technical workers have remained on staff through the transition to provide continuous support for returning vehicle owners.

The site sits along E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue at the corner of Carlos J. Caparas in Barangay Ugong, Pasig City.

Spanning 2,343 square meters of real estate, the property features a vehicle showroom that holds up to six display cars alongside six technical bays built for periodic maintenance and mechanical repairs.

The facility stands as the first local Mazda location built around the Japanese Premium concept, using timber accents, natural illumination, and an open layout.

Architect Ted Ramos helped design the building, borrowing styling cues from the Mazda Takadanobaba site in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Ramos also designed the Mazda Center of Excellence in Cabuyao, Laguna.

The outlet traces its roots back to August 2004 when it started under CATS Motors as Mazda Greenhills. It relocated to its current C-5 spot in August 2023 under Inchcape before the recent change in operators.

The showroom operates in tandem with other Metro Manila sites in Makati, Quezon Avenue and Alabang.

Mazda Philippines president and chief executive officer Steven Tan said the new appointment renews the company’s focus on long-term client care and dedicated ownership service.
