Suzuki Philippines has introduced the Ertiga GLX Hybrid Sport to the local market with a retail price of P1,199,000. The vehicle targets buyers who need three rows of seating but want a more aggressive vehicle profile than typical family haulers.
The visual upgrades center on components that come through the Suzuki Sport parts catalog. The package adds matching under-spoilers below the front bumper, along the side sills, and across the bottom of the rear bumper.
A dedicated rear upper spoiler sits directly above the back glass, and an official Suzuki Sport badge rests on the tailgate metal. Buyers can order the vehicle in either Magma Gray Metallic or Snow White Pearl paint.
The mechanical components remain identical to the standard hybrid version. The front engine bay houses a 1.5-liter K15B gas engine linked to a 12-volt mild hybrid system.
The powertrain produces 105 horsepower and 138 Newton-meters of torque. An automatic transmission delivers propulsion to the road.
The hybrid system uses a compact 0.72 kilowatt-hour battery that gathers electrical energy whenever the car slows down. The system feeds this captured electricity back to the car during initial acceleration and hard throttle maneuvers.
This assistance reduces overall load on the engine and saves gas during heavy stop-and-go city driving.
The interior seats seven passengers across three rows. Owners drop the rear seats down to accommodate extra sports equipment, grocery loads, or vacation bags. A keyless push-start button turns the engine on without requiring a physical key.
The center of the dashboard holds a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, and an automatic climate control system manages the cabin temperature.
Drivers use the cruise control buttons on flat highway stretches to stay at steady speeds. Ventilated cup holders in the center console channel cool air to keep drinks cold on long road trips.
Passenger protection relies on the Suzuki Total Effective Control Technology body frame that directs impact forces away from the passenger space during collisions.
Standard safety items include dual front airbags, electronic stability control, and anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution.
Many multi-purpose vehicles look generic on city roads, but this model uses lower body skirts and an upper wing to create a lower highway stance without altering actual vehicle clearance or gas economy.
The variant suits working professionals who manage carpools during the week and head out on weekend road trips with heavy gear.
The Ertiga GLX Hybrid Sport provides a well-rounded option for motorists across the country. It delivers efficient gas mileage, three-row utility, and factory styling upgrades without pushing the vehicle out of reach for budget-minded family buyers.
