  • Police arrested a construction worker and recovered an unlicensed firearm during a search warrant operation in Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City on Thursday afternoon.

    ‎The suspect was identified only by the alias Edwin, 39, a resident of Hontiveros Compound, Fourth Estate, Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City.

    ‎At around 5:10 p.m., intelligence operatives implemented search warrant for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). The warrant was issued on 24 August by Second Vice Executive Judge Moises De Castro of Parañaque City Metropolitan Trial Court.

    ‎The search operation resulted in the recovery of one .38 caliber revolver loaded with four live ammunitions.

    ‎‎Formal charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 are being prepared for filing before the Parañaque City Prosecutor’s Office.
