RADAR EV Pickup Philippines has opened its Cebu dealership with Pacific Autoworld Inc., giving the brand a stronger base for serving customers across the Visayas.
The new outlet stands at the corner of Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue and J. Panis Street in Banilad, Cebu City, an area shared by several automotive brands. Its showroom displays the battery-electric RD6 Econ and the RD6 EM-P 4WD plug-in hybrid, while customers may also arrange test drives and discuss vehicle options with the dealership team.
The opening follows an agreement signed earlier this year by RADAR EV Pickup Philippines brand head Franz Decloedt and Pacific Autoworld Inc. president Marco Borromeo.
The partnership supports UAAGI Auto Group’s expansion across the Visayas and Mindanao while placing sales and service closer to buyers outside Metro Manila.
RADAR becomes the fourth UAAGI-distributed brand handled by Pacific Autoworld in Cebu after BAIC, Chery and Jetour.
The Borromeo Group company draws on 25 years of automotive experience as it introduces RADAR’s electrified pickups to private motorists and fleet customers in the region.
The RD6 Econ serves buyers ready to move fully into electric driving. Depending on the variant, it uses a battery of up to 73 kilowatt-hours and can travel as far as 443 kilometers under the New European Driving Cycle.
Four-wheel-drive versions deliver up to 485 Newton-meters of torque, while the range includes configurations intended for work use and heavier loads.
For motorists who need longer driving range without depending entirely on charging stations, the RD6 EM-P 4WD combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with front and rear electric motors. The system produces 457 horsepower and 659 Nm of torque.
It can cover up to 82 kilometers on electric power alone, with total hybrid range exceeding 1,000 kilometers.
Both versions use a unibody platform and independent suspension rather than the body-on-frame construction common among pickups. RADAR says this gives the RD6 a more car-like ride while retaining the cargo space and utility expected from a truck. Vehicle-to-load capability also allows the pickup to supply electricity for tools and appliances.
Utility remains central to the range. The RD6 Econ offers a payload capacity reaching 1,160 kilograms on selected versions, while the EM-P can carry up to 800 kilograms.
Ground clearance is at least 220 mm, and both models have an 815-mm wading depth. A long-bed Econ stretches the cargo floor to 1,765 mm.
The Cebu site adds a fully equipped aftersales area with five service bays, allowing maintenance and repairs to be performed at the dealership.
Each RD6 comes with a bumper-to-bumper warranty of up to five years or 150,000 kilometers. Its high-voltage battery is covered for eight years or 200,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
The inauguration brought together Pacific Autoworld president Marco Borromeo, Borromeo Motoring Group director Paolo Borromeo and group founder Max Borromeo.
RADAR and UAAGI were represented by Decloedt, UAAGI chief marketing executive and senior vice president Lyn Buena, deputy director Joshua Sytin and Dealer Development Department director Engr. Marvin Martinez.
