At about 11 p.m., personnel of the Putatan Police Sub-Station immediately responded to a telephone report regarding a man roaming around the PNR Site in Sunrise Subdivision while openly carrying a firearm.
The suspect's actions reportedly caused fear and alarm among residents, prompting authorities to verify the report without delay.
Upon arriving at the scene, the responding officers apprehended the suspect, identified only by the alias Adriano, a 29-year-old unemployed resident of UP Side Subdivision, Barangay Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
Seized during the operation were one Armscor caliber .38 revolver with a defaced serial number, one live caliber .38 ammunition, and one brown Gucci sling bag used to carry the firearm.
