Singer and MYX VJ Jarren Garcia is set to showcase a more personal side of his artistry with the release of his new extended play, LUVBOMB, arriving on digital streaming platforms on 23 July.
The seven-track R&B and soul project explores the emotional highs and lows of modern relationships, from the thrill of falling in love to the pain of letting go. The EP features the songs “Gotchu,” “Pinaka Pretty,” “Tatapatin,” “APK (Ang Pahinga Ko),” “Pinili Kita, Pero,” and both the Taglish and English versions of “Runaway.”
Leading the release is “Runaway,” a song about two people trapped in a cycle of breaking apart and finding their way back to each other despite knowing the relationship may no longer be healthy. The track serves as the emotional centerpiece of the EP, highlighting Jarren’s soulful vocals and introspetive songwriting.
Before gaining nationwide attention as a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11, Jarren first introduced his musical talent as a contestant on The Voice UK at just 13 years old. He officially debuted as a recording artist in 2025 with his self-titled album, which has accumulated more than 2.5 million streams and produced the tracks “Make It Make Sense” and “Gimme Gimme Gimme.”
Since then, Jarren has continued to build his music career through regular performances on ASAP XP and a sold-out “That Boy Jarren Album Launch and Fan Meet” at the SM North EDSA Skydome. With LUVBOMB, the young artist opens a new chapter that leans into heartfelt storytelling and contemporary R&B, giving listeners a soundtrack for love, longing, and everything in between.
