Officials from the local government of Caloocan City visited Mandaue City to share best practices in local governance and explore future inter-city partnerships, officials said.
Caloocan Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan led a delegation of city leaders, lawmakers, and business representatives for a meeting with Mandaue City Mayor Jonkie Ouano to discuss public service programs and municipal policies.
“The exchange of ideas among local governments allows us to continuously improve the programs and services we deliver to our constituents,” Malapitan said, also thanking Mandaue officials for hosting the group.
Malapitan cited that the visit marks the start of a broader collaboration between the two urban centers to boost economic development and local governance initiatives.
