Authorities arrested three suspects in separate operations across Bulacan, seizing illegal drugs and firearms while capturing the municipality's top most wanted person, police said Tuesday.
In separate buy-bust operations in San Jose del Monte and San Ildefonso on 13 July, operatives arrested two suspects and confiscated 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000, along with two improvised firearms and ammunition.
The suspects will face charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
In a separate operation in Norzagaray, police arrested "Alias Noel," 42, the municipality's top most wanted person, on a warrant for qualified rape, a non-bailable offense.
Bulacan Acting Provincial Director Col. Jay B. Baybayan said the operations reflect the police's intensified campaign against illegal drugs, loose firearms and wanted persons.
