Filipino singer-songwriter Maki is continuing to strengthen his presence in Southeast Asia after making a special appearance on Trans7’s hit comedy-variety show Lapor Pak!, following the successful Jakarta leg of his KOLORCOASTER Asia Tour.
The television guesting marks another milestone in Maki’s growing popularity in Indonesia, where his music has steadily found an audience among young listeners.
Best known for its lively comedy sketches, celebrity guests, and quick-witted humor, Lapor Pak! gave Maki the chance to showcase more than his musical talent. Sharing the stage with popular personalities Andre Taulany, Wendy Cagur, Andhika Pratama, Surya Insomnia, and veteran comedian Nunung, the Filipino artist displayed his playful personality and natural rapport with the cast, earning positive reactions from viewers.
His appearance on Lapor Pak! further introduced him to Indonesia’s mainstream entertainment audience, allowing more viewers to discover both his music and his on-screen charisma.
Maki’s growing influence in Indonesia extends beyond television. Following his KOLORCOASTER Tour stop in Jakarta, he has been featured across several Indonesian entertainment, music and lifestyle publications, including Ngekonser, Bingkai Karya through its Bingkai Suara interview series, CreativeDisc, Konser Kultura, Jakarta Folks, and Beautynesia.
