
Listed PhilWeb Corp. will begin rolling out exclusive hosted gaming services from international software provider Pragmatic Play in the third quarter to e expand its technology-enabled gaming business and create a new recurring revenue stream.
Under the exclusive partnership, PhilWeb will provide hosted services via its remote technology infrastructure and API-enabled integrations.
The company said the development would allow licensed gaming operators to offer Pragmatic Play’s gaming portfolio to customers, subject to regulatory approvals and contractual arrangements.
“This partnership represents an important milestone in PhilWeb’s long-term strategy of expanding its technology-enabled gaming services business,” PhilWeb President Edgar Brian K. Ng said on Thursday.
“By collaborating with one of the industry’s leading international gaming services providers, we are positioned to broaden our commercial relationships with licensed operators while creating a scalable and recurring revenue stream through technology-enabled services,” he added.
PhilWeb said Pragmatic Play’s gaming services are already used by a substantial majority of online gaming platforms licensed to operate locally.
The company added that the partnership also provides a platform for future collaborations with other international gaming services providers as it builds a broader portfolio of technology-enabled offerings for the country’s regulated gaming market.
Pragmatic Play is a multi-product software provider to the iGaming industry, offering slots, live casino, and other gaming products through a single API integration across regulated markets.
It is licensed by regulators including the Gambling Commission of Great Britain, the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner, and the Malta Gaming Authority.
