JUSTICE Secretary Fredderick Vida
Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Fredderick Vida led the groundbreaking ceremony for the new DOJ Multi-Purpose Building Complex in Kakai Renabor, Tubod, Lanao del Norte, on 3 July, reaffirming the department’s commitment to bringing justice closer to every Filipino.
Vida was joined by 1st District Rep. Imelda “Angging” Quibranza Dimaporo, Vice Governor Allan Lim, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board Member Maria Cristina Atay, Acting Provincial Engineer Joseph Apat, Region X Regional Prosecutor Merlynn Barola Uy, and Lanao del Norte Provincial Prosecutor Nur Jaypha Baraman-Asum during the ceremony.
The new facility will serve as a modern and functional workplace for DOJ offices in the province, helping improve service delivery, enhance work efficiency, and expand access to justice for the people of Lanao del Norte.
Once completed, the multi-purpose building complex is expected to strengthen the DOJ’s capacity to carry out its mandate and bring justice services closer to the communities it serves.
“May this building forever stand as a symbol of what is possible when government works as one—guided by integrity, united by purpose, and committed to serving the Filipino people,” Vida said.
The project reflects the department’s continuing efforts to provide facilities that promote accessible, efficient, and responsive justice services while ensuring a safe and conducive working environment for its personnel.
“Your generosity will leave a legacy that will endure long after this ceremony, benefiting not only those who work here, but every citizen who seeks justice,” Vida said as he thanked the local government of Lanao del Norte for its support.
