Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines has opened two new dealerships in Cavite as it prepares for the local launch of the Jaecoo J5 EV this month.
Omoda & Jaecoo Kawit opened on 23 June under Evision Auto, followed by Omoda Jaecoo Dasmariñas on 25 June under Central Auto Resources Inc. The two locations expand the brand’s presence in Southern Luzon and give customers in Cavite easier access to sales and after-sales support.
The expansion comes after the J5 EV was previewed at the Philippine International Motor Show. The all-electric crossover is part of the brand’s New Energy Vehicle lineup and is expected to arrive with a rated range of 461 kilometers. It produces about 208 horsepower and 288 Nm of torque.
Omoda & Jaecoo also brought Aimoga, its humanoid robot, and Robodog to the dealership openings.
The display showed the brand’s interest in artificial intelligence and connected mobility, although the main draw for customers remains the growing vehicle lineup and service network.
The Cavite outlets add to the brand’s push to build a wider retail base as more electric and hybrid vehicles enter the local market. The J5 EV launch is expected to include product displays, customer activities, and public test drives.
