After officially launching in the Philippines not too long ago, Omoda & Jaecoo isn’t wasting any time making its presence felt. The brand has announced plans to open 30 dealerships across the country by the end of this year — part of its push to become more accessible to Filipino drivers, especially as more people start exploring new car brands and tech.
Right now, they’ve already set up shops in major areas like Manila, Pasig, Alabang and Sta. Rosa, as well as regional hubs like Cebu and Tagum. According to the company, they’ve been getting strong interest from local car buyers since their brand launch, and that’s helped push their expansion plans forward.
“At our recent brand launch, we received an overwhelming response from Filipino motorists, signaling a strong demand for our vehicles. This, combined with our understanding of shifting consumer preferences, drives our commitment to further expanding our dealership network across the nation,” Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines said in a statement.
Omoda & Jaecoo seems to be targeting drivers who care about both looks and performance. Their cars are designed with a mix of modern design and smart features — aimed at a younger market that wants something that stands out but also delivers on the road.
They’re also getting in early on the EV shift. With more Filipinos looking into electric vehicles, the brand already has three models out for viewing and test drives: the Omoda C5, the fully electric Omoda E5, and the Jaecoo EJ6. These are now available in all of their eight existing dealerships.
Looking ahead, the company says 2025 is shaping up to be a big year. Besides opening more showrooms, they’re working on new car launches and partnerships that they believe will help shape the future of driving in the Philippines.
“2025 will mark multiple milestones for Omoda & Jaecoo, Philippines” the brand added. “With new dealerships on the horizon, exciting partnerships, and the launch of innovative models this year, we are thrilled to usher in the future of Filipino Driving.”
They’re also looking to grow their business network. So if you’re someone interested in becoming a dealer, you can get in touch with Rocky Xu or Niño Luna from their Dealer Network Development team. (Email: rocky.xu@omodaglobal.com or nino@omodaglobal.com)
