The Supreme Court (SC) has renewed the Comprehensive Health Care Plan with Kaiser International Healthgroup Inc., extending health maintenance organization (HMO) coverage for justices, judges, and court personnel nationwide.
The contract-signing ceremony was led by Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo at the SC in Manila, reaffirming the judiciary’s commitment to the health and welfare of its workforce.
During the ceremony, Associate Justice Samuel H. Gaerlan said the renewed agreement reflects the judiciary’s continuing investment in the well-being of its officials and employees, noting that quality healthcare is essential to an efficient justice system.
The healthcare plan, first launched in 2024, provides unified HMO coverage for members of the Philippine judiciary and is implemented through the joint venture of Kaiser International Healthgroup Inc. and Manila Bankers Life and General Assurance Corp..
The renewed agreement was signed by SC Clerk of Court En Banc Marife M. Lomibao-Cuevas and Kaiser President Dr. Leah Uy-Yolo.
