Employees and tenant personnel at SM City Cauayan in Isabela participated in the fourth nationwide orientation on the Safe Spaces Act on 29 June 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen awareness of the law and promote safer public spaces.
The orientation provided mall frontliners and tenant employees with information on the provisions of the Safe Spaces Act, including the importance of preventing harassment and fostering a respectful environment for customers and workers.
According to SM, the activity forms part of its nationwide campaign to increase awareness of the law among its workforce and encourage shared responsibility in maintaining safe and inclusive spaces inside its malls.
The company said the initiative is aimed at ensuring that safety, respect, and well-being remain priorities for employees, tenants, and mallgoers.
