Dune deal: Hybrid SUV drives most BAIC sales

CAPABILITY leads the BAIC B30e Dune 4x4 as the hybrid SUV takes the biggest share of the brand’s 2026 sales.
BAIC Philippines said the B30e Dune 4x4 has become its strongest-selling model this year, accounting for 69 percent of the brand’s total sales volume in 2026.
The hybrid SUV is priced at P1,888,000 and has become the main driver of BAIC’s local portfolio as more buyers look for a vehicle that can handle daily use, long drives and rougher road conditions without giving up fuel efficiency.
The B30e Dune uses a 1.5-liter hybrid powertrain paired with a 2-speed dedicated hybrid transmission.
The system produces 409 PS and 685 Nm of torque. BAIC said the SUV can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.59 seconds with Launch Control.

CONTROL sits at the center of the BAIC B30e Dune cabin with its drive selector and console controls.
Fuel economy is also one of its main selling points. According to BAIC, the B30e Dune can reach up to 34.9 kilometers per liter, giving buyers a mix of performance and lower fuel use in one package.

COMFORT defines the BAIC B30e Dune interior with its wide screen, digital cluster and front-row features.
The model also comes with an intelligent adaptive 4x4 system. BAIC said this allows the SUV to handle flooded roads, uneven provincial routes, sandy coastal areas and steep mountain roads.
These conditions remain common for Filipino drivers who use their vehicles for work, family trips and out-of-town travel.
Inside, the B30e Dune has a 14.6-inch infotainment screen that shows energy flow data from the hybrid system.
It lets the driver see when the battery is charging, discharging or when the engine is running. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster provides key driving information.
The SUV also gets leather seats, front-row ventilation and a panoramic sunroof. These features are aimed at buyers who spend long hours in traffic and want better comfort during hot weather.
For parking and tight spaces, the B30e Dune is fitted with a 540-degree camera system. It also has a motorized power tailgate for loading luggage, groceries and other cargo.
BAIC also highlighted the SUV’s rear cargo power outlet, which supplies 150 watts at 220 volts. The feature works with Camping Mode, where the engine can act as a generator.
This allows the vehicle to power small equipment, devices or outdoor gear. It may also be useful during power interruptions.
Safety equipment includes six airbags and a Level 2 advanced driver assistance system. The package includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Intelligent Lane-Keeping Assistance, Forward Collision Warning and Intelligent Braking.
These systems are meant to help reduce fatigue and add protection during highway drives, night trips and heavy traffic.
BAIC Philippines said the B30e Dune’s share of its sales points to a stronger interest in hybrid SUVs that combine power, efficiency and everyday use.
The company said nearly seven out of every 10 BAIC buyers this year chose the B30e Dune.
The brand is also backing the model with parts availability, service support, trained technicians and an expanding dealer network. BAIC said this is meant to support owners beyond the initial purchase and help with long-term maintenance.
