“BGC is where a lot of modern Filipino life happens. People live here, work here, and bring their families here on weekends, and it has become one of the country’s leading centers for business and lifestyle. It’s a place that welcomes new ideas and new technology, and that makes it a natural home for BAIC,” BAIC Philippines brand head Timothy Sytin said.
He added that the district’s strong connection with business, lifestyle and new technology made it a suitable location for the brand.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano attended the inauguration together with officials from BAIC Philippines, UAAGI Auto Group and MG Gateway Mantrade Corporation. Dealer partners, media guests and other invited attendees also joined the opening.
BAIC BGC gives customers a place to view the brand’s current vehicle lineup and learn more about its conventional and electrified models. It will also provide sales and service support.
Among the vehicles available through the dealership are the BAIC B30e Dune, B40e Trailmaster rEV and B60e Beaumont rEV.
The B30e Dune combines hybrid technology with SUV practicality and off-road capability. The B40e Trailmaster rEV uses range-extended electric vehicle technology while retaining the rugged character associated with the model.
The larger B60e Beaumont rEV caters to buyers who need more cabin space and long-distance versatility.
BAIC Philippines also offers other models in the country, including the B40 Pro TrailMaster, B40 Ragnar diesel SUV, B60 Beaumont diesel hybrid, B80 Wagon and X55 Verve crossover.
The BGC dealership will serve another role beyond vehicle sales. BAIC Philippines said the site is expected to host activities for owners in the coming months, giving customers a venue for gatherings and other brand events.
BAIC BGC is the latest addition to the company’s dealership network as it adds more locations and expands access to sales and aftersales services.
