SB19 has reached another career milestone after being announced as performers at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California, for Global Spin Live, whose tickets sold out within a minute of becoming officially available.
According to the Grammy Museum website, the P-Pop Kings will perform at Global Spin Live on 28 July (29 July in the Philippines).
“The Grammy Museum is thrilled to welcome SB19 for an evening of conversation about their upcoming music, career, and more, along with a special performance,” the Grammy Museum said in its official announcement.
“SB19 is a multi-awarded, five-member Filipino boy group composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin. Since their debut in 2018, the group has become one of the most influential acts in Southeast Asian music, amassing over 1 billion career streams worldwide and cultivating a passionate global fanbase known as A’TIN.”
SB19's appearance on Global Spin Live will be moderated by Emily Mei ahead of the group's historic performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago on July 30, where they will become the first Filipino act to perform at the renowned music festival.
The Grammy Museum's Global Spin Live is an extension of the digital series Global Spin, which celebrates international music artists through live performances and conversations.
Past guests have included Taemin, BOYNEXTDOOR, TREASURE, BABYMONSTER, Jeff Satur, and more.
In August, SB19 will hold thanksgiving fan meets in the United States and Japan before performing at the Osaka leg of Summer Sonic.
Their latest album, Wakas at Simula, was released in March.
