Marian Rivera knows a thing or two about keeping one’s feet on the ground amid popularity.

Rivera, a panel member on Stars on the Floor Season 2, shared a deeply personal reflection on the values she continues to uphold, both in her career and at home: “Hanggang ngayon ito ay sinasalin ko sa mga anak ko. When you want something, prepare yourself wholeheartedly. Never forget the people who helped you rise and, above all, offer everything to God first. When you are guided and blessed, what is meant for you will come).”

Rivera added that the faith she held onto at the beginning of her journey remains just as strong today. Her words resonate strongly in a competition where discipline, humility, and belief are just as crucial as talent.

The reality dance show’s spotlight burns brighter as the competition shifts into high gear with its first-ever collaboration battles — a thrilling round that pairs celebrity performers with rising P-Pop dance stars for electrifying duo showdowns.

After a premiere that sparked online chatter, week two of Stars On The Floor raised the stakes even higher with the long-awaited reveal of the season’s mystery dance star, multi-awarded actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

Guiding the action each week is host Alden Richards, who keeps the energy soaring as celebrity contenders join forces with P-Pop standouts. Their performances face the scrutiny of the dance authority panel headed by Rivera, alongside coach Jay and Rayver Cruz.

A test of chemistry and creativity

Dubbed the “Collabo-labong Labanan,” the new phase challenges each pair to blend their unique dance identities into a seamless, show-stopping routine — from fiery Latin ballroom numbers to hard-hitting hip-hop and slick jazz funk pieces.

Offstage, the hard work continues. Contestants are seen arriving early for rehearsals, drilling steps repeatedly and refining every count before the live showdown. The dedication has not gone unnoticed, especially by Rivera, who has consistently expressed admiration for the performers’ grit and willingness to embrace the challenge.

Fans eager for more can dive into exclusive behind-the-scenes content through the show’s digital companion series, offering a closer look at rehearsals, bonding moments and the intense preparation leading up to each Sunday night face-off.
