GCash users can now request official civil registry documents from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) directly through the mobile app.

The PSA has partnered with Ayala-led fintech firm GCash and service provider Pilipinas Teleserv to integrate civil registry services into the platform, in a move aimed at accelerating the digitalization of essential government services.

The collaboration introduces the PSAHelpline Mini App within the GCash app, allowing users to order birth, marriage and death certificates, as well as Certificates of No Marriage (CENOMAR) and Certificates of No Death (CENODEATH), using their smartphones.

Officials said the initiative is intended to make document requests more accessible, particularly for those in remote areas, by streamlining the process from application and payment to delivery.

The PSA also said the public may obtain digital copies of civil registry documents through its E-Certificate Service. Applicants can visit PSAHelpline.ph, select “Order Now,” complete the online form, choose a payment option, and undergo identity verification to process their request.
