Games today:

(FilOil EcoOil Centre)

4 p.m. — Akari vs PLDT

6:30 p.m. — Nxled vs Galeries

Unbeaten Nxled guards against composure when taking on upset-conscious Galeries Tower in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference today at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

Parading a 3-0 win-loss card for solo lead, the Chameleons stake their perfect record in the 6:30 p.m. encounter.

Meanwhile, another undefeated club, PLDT, seeks a third straight victory against a very hungry and winless squad Akari in the curtain-raiser at 4 p.m.

Nxled Italian head coach Ettore Guidetti looks to utilize his team’s advantage in depth and firepower to stay unblemished and maintain its course for an elimination round sweep for an outright semifinals seat.

But sporting a pristine record means a bigger target on the Chameleons’ backs.

“We just know every single game, we have a big target on our back,” Guidetti said.

Nxled is fresh off a straight sets win over erstwhile undefeated Cignal, 25-19 25-22, 27-25, behind the double-digit scoring of Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips and Myla Pablo.

Guidetti will once again bank on the steady playmaking of Jules Tolentino, who tallied 19 excellent sets last game.

“Jules is continuously developing. So that’s a very important part of the game. She is super consistent in all the skills. So she can do whatever and everything. She is very nice in block, very nice in service. Obviously, she is a super good setter,” he said.

On the other hand, the Highrisers are reeling from a 25-14, 25-15, 25-12, defeat at the hands of Farm Fresh.

Head coach Aying Esteban pins his hopes on Aiza Maizo-Pontllas, Erika Delorioa, Roselle Baliton and top setter Julia Coronel to get back on the winning track.

Galeries Tower holds a 1-2 mark tied with the Foxies.

The High Speed Hitters behind Savi Davison, Kim Kianna Dy, Majoy Baron and Mika Reyes are on a two-game roll.

PLDT defeated Creamline and Capital1 to stay in the hunt for an automatic Final Four entry.

The Chargers, meanwhile, are still looking for their first win after dropping two straight to Choco Mucho and ZUS Coffee in a stinging five-setter decision last week.

Ivy Lacsina, Fifi Sharma and Chenie Tagaod will need more support from the rest of Akari crew to get off the hump.
