Hotel101 Group, the hospitality arm of DoubleDragon Corporation, marked the Lunar New Year by welcoming the Year of the Fire Horse. The event was attended by key management, including Hotel101 Group E-Commerce Manager Ron Nunez, Hotel101-Fort Hotel Manager Lawrence Valerio, Jinjiang Inn – Makati Hotel Manager Wesley Ann Go-Sta. Maria, General Manager Charley S. Magabo, Head of Public Relations Brian Ong, and Senior Sales Manager Nikho Bacar.
Hotel101 operates multiple locations across the Philippines, including Hotel101-Fort, Hotel101-Manila, Jinjiang Inn – Ortigas, Jinjiang Inn – Makati, Jinjiang Inn – Boracay Station 1, and Injap Tower Hotel in Iloilo. The company plans to open new branches in Davao, Cebu, and Libis, among other areas.
International expansion is also underway, with upcoming locations in Madrid, Spain; Niseko, Japan; Los Angeles, USA; Milan, Italy; and Melbourne, Australia. These openings are part of Hotel101’s long-term vision to operate in 100 countries. The hotel chain has made history as the first Filipino hotel brand to expand overseas across multiple countries and as the first Filipino-owned company to list on the US NASDAQ stock exchange.
The celebration also featured the announcement of the winners of Mr. & Ms. Chinatown Global 2026: Ang Wei Yang of Malaysia took the Mr. title, while 1st Runners-up were Olivier Liu Xu of Switzerland and Khaohom Seearamroongruang of Thailand.
