IBA, Zambales — A Mongolian pilot believed to be a spy for the Chinese government was arrested in a joint operation by the Bureau of Immigration, Armed Forces of the Philippines, ISAF, Philippine National Police, and the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency-Region 3 on Thursday. The operation took place in Barangay Lipay Dingin, Iba, Zambales.
The suspect, Bold-Erdene Boldbaatar, 30, was a pilot student at All Asia Aviation Academy in Iba. Authorities said he violated Philippine immigration laws and posed a threat to national security, public safety, and national interests.
