A new dialogue in contemporary expression unfolds as Art Fair sa Likhang Filipino, in partnership with Vetted and Salcedo Auctions, presents Pagtatagpo. Running from 3 to 7 February at the newly inaugurated Likhang Filipino Exhibition Hall on Roxas Boulevard, the exhibit showcases poetic intersections of three creative trajectories — Lynyrd Paras, Marco Santos and Vien Valencia for the benefit of Fashion Aid Philippines. More than just an exhibition, Pagtatagpo serves as a sanctuary for material inquiry.
Vien Valencia, a 2026 CCP Thirteen Artists awardee, finds beauty in the organic decay of the urban landscape, reinterpreting tactile burlap canvases through a newfound spectrum of color.
Meanwhile, the evocative Lynyrd Paras bridges the internal and external, weaving a visual history that trades past chaos for a profound, quiet truce.
Marco Santos transcends his corporate origins, “painting with fire” to transform glass and industrial Marston mats into functional elegance. Pagtatagpo is a sophisticated meeting of intuition and evolution — a testament to how art, in its purest form, becomes a shared journey of the self.
