GameZone brings playful energy to Sinulog Festival 2026 in Cebu
Viva Pit Señor! Cebu’s streets were alive with color, music, and energy as locals and visitors gathered for the 2026 Sinulog Festival, and this year, GameZone turned up the excitement with the immersive “Game, Sinulog!” experience. From 12 to 18 January 2026, the festivities at Rajah Park Hotel and Peak & Pi Cafe in Fuente Osmeña Circle became a playground for festival-goers looking to mix fun, competition, and prizes.
Participants received exclusive GameZone passports, which tracked points across multiple stations. The first station challenged players to take photos in front of a vibrant GameZone & Sinulog backdrop and share them on social media to score points. At the second station, the Ball Toss Challenge tested aim and strategy, with the yellow hole granting the highest points. The third station invited participants to leave notes on the wall, adding bonus points to their totals. The higher the points, the bigger the prizes—and for those who brought their A-game, the rewards were truly memorable.
Every participant aged 21 and above could join the games and claim prizes ranging from GameZone-branded tote bags, T-shirts, activation passports, and scratch cards to exclusive mini-merchandise. On the festival’s final day, five lucky participants holding gold cards marked “A” and “Lucky 9” were eligible to win a brand-new iPhone 17 Pro Max or cash prizes, capping off the week-long celebration with unforgettable excitement.
The event was also a hub for content creators and influencers. Movie star Awra Briguela, along with Christine Samson, Yskaela Fujimoto, John Bill, Damon From Heaven, Stella Salle, Frincess Arañas, Junjun Salarzon, Shin Gonzaga, and Yolove, joined the fun, livestreaming the experience, engaging with festival-goers, and sharing the vibrant spirit of Sinulog with their followers.
From games and giveaways to interactive photo opportunities and lively cafes, GameZone’s activation highlighted its commitment to blending entertainment with community engagement. Attendees got to celebrate faith, Filipino culture, and friendship while enjoying a festival atmosphere elevated by immersive gaming experiences.
