The 2026 Academy Award nominations for the 98th Oscars have officially been unveiled, spotlighting the year’s most acclaimed films, performances and creative achievements. 

Announced live on Thursday, 22 January, the nominations span 24 competitive categories including the newly introduced Best Casting, with top contenders emerging in major fields like Best Picture, Best Director and acting honors.
