BAGUIO CITY— Instead of greeting each other "Good morning", Baguio residents can be heard saying "Nakalamlammin!" (It is very cold!) in the morning of 23 January, as the temperature dropped lower than that of the coldness of 22 January.

As of 5:00 AM on Friday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) recorded the temperature of the city at 10 °C. Lower than the 11°C on Thursday, 22 January.

Higher places in the mountain city may be colder than the recorded temperature. Such coldness is expected until February or March.

As the coolness may attract people from other places in the country to visit the City of Baguio, residents, especially people who have to wake up early as they have to report to work in the morning, struggle to take a bath and do other morning rituals, as they have to deal with the freezing water and air. Some also have lower body resistance, so they have to ensure to keep their selves warm to avoid more complications.
