The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and the Philippine Racing Commission (PHILRACOM) renewed their partnership in support of the local horse racing industry with the holding of the 2025 PHILRACOM–PCSO 3rd Leg Imported/Local Challenge on 28 December 2025, at the Philippine Jockey Club.
Nine horses competed in the 2,000-meter race, which carried a gross guaranteed prize of P1.5 million. Emerging as the winner was “Buzz Rocket,” owned by Bell Racing Stable and Eric Dela Rosa, with jockey Oneal Cortez and trainer Donato Sordan. The winning team received the top prize of P900,000 following a strong performance on the track.
“Resonant” finished second, followed by “Tough Customer” in third place and “Reverse Merger” in fourth. Completing the field were “Candy and Wine” in fifth, “Anytime Anywhere” in sixth, and “Readytoriskitall” in seventh.
Trophies and plaques were awarded by PHILRACOM Chairman Aurelio De Leon and PCSO Assistant General Manager for the Gaming, Product Development, and Marketing Sector Atty. Lyssa Grace Pagano. They were assisted by Corporate Planning Department Manager Atty. Anna Liza Inciong and Product and Standard Development Department Manager Demosthenes Magno.
Organizers said the continued collaboration between PCSO and PHILRACOM reflects their shared commitment to strengthening the horse racing industry, promoting competitiveness and integrity, and ensuring sustained support for the local racing community.
