K-POP group AHOF leads the countdown to 2026 at SM Mall of Asia, delivering a high-energy performance for thousands of fans.
SM Mall of Asia dominated New Year’s Eve celebrations as it hosted the massive GMA Kapuso Countdown to 2026, drawing over 250,000 Filipinos and tourists to the seaside complex. One of the biggest public events in the country, the celebration delivered a fully maxed-out New Year experience, combining an all-out live show and one of the largest fireworks spectacles ever staged in the Philippines.

GMA Kapuso stars take center stage at SM Mall of Asia, driving the momentum of the Kapuso Countdown to 2026.
Crowds filled Seaside Boulevard and key activity areas across the complex as live performances kicked off at 10 PM. Fans traveled from various provinces and overseas, with some lining up as early as morning and even flying in from Japan to secure spots for the night’s celebration. The event was hosted by Betong Sumaya, Christian Bautista, Tim Yap, and Emma Tiglao, keeping the energy high throughout the evening.

Back-to-back performances from Kapuso stars sustained momentum as midnight approached. Artists who took the stage included Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Will Ashley, Vince Maristela, Faith da Silva, Angel Guardian, Charlie Fleming, AZ Martinez, international singer Bonnie Bailey, and other GMA Kapuso stars, drawing cheers from the massive crowd spread across the MOA grounds.
The night’s biggest highlight came with the performance of K-pop sensation AHOF. Formed through the SBS survival program Universe League, the group debuted in 2025 and quickly gained international attention for its performancedriven sound and sharp choreography. With Filipino member JL Gaspar in its lineup, AHOF’s set resonated strongly with local fans gathered at MOA to welcome 2026.
