“Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.” — Lao Tzu
Celebrating 30 years, GMA Network’s Sparkle Artist Center is championing positivity and compassion with its renewed mission. Its latest advocacy, #ClickKindness, is an anti-bullying campaign that reaches people both online and offline, focusing on mental health and empathy in today’s digital age.
Recently, Sparkle unveiled a special video led by its brightest talents — Alden Richards, Julie Anne San Jose, Ruru Madrid, Miguel Tanfelix, Kyline Alcantara, Ysabel Ortega, Shuvee Etrata, Ashley Ortega, Allen Ansay, Rita Daniela, Jessica Villarubin, Roxie Smith and Prince Carlos — emphasizing the message: “Change starts when you choose to care.” The video invites everyone to join in making a difference, one click at a time.
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards shared during Sparkle’s celebration:
“It’s easy for us to show good qualities in the real world. So of course, let’s also use it online, because our reach online combined is very powerful, all our posts should be inspiring, not giving hateful feedback, not fighting, but giving love” He then added:
“Kindness goes a long way, and it starts with all of us... with you, with me, and everyone online.”
Sparkle encourages everyone to flood the digital world with kindness using #ClickKindness, hoping to create a ripple effect that extends far beyond its fan base. For 30 years and beyond, a celebration becomes more than a milestone — it becomes a movement.
