The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) concluded its first Clark Chorale Competition at Nayon sa Clark in the Clark Freeport Zone on 23 December 2025.
The event was organized to highlight Clark as a venue for culture-driven tourism and community-based artistic activities during the holiday season.
Five choir groups from schools and community institutions participated in the inaugural competition, which was organized by the CDC Tourism Promotions Division.
The competition served as a platform for choral music while showcasing Clark’s cultural spaces as venues for artistic and community-oriented events.
Preliminary rounds were held on 16–17, 19, 21, and 22 December, with the final round taking place on 23 December.
CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera said the activity reflected ongoing efforts to develop Clark as a community anchored on creativity and cultural expression.
“What we are having right now is a symbol of the community that we are consciously developing here in Clark. A community of people,” she said.
The panel of judges included former Cultural Center of the Philippines music director Chris Millado, Gildo Garcia of the Angeles University Foundation Concert Chorus, and Prof. Joseph Erwin Limpin of the Magnificat Seminary Choir.
Voce de Angeli won the championship, followed by Koro de Sto. Niño as first runner-up and the Systems Plus College Foundation (SPCF) Glee Club as second runner-up. Consolation prizes were awarded to the Sta. Monica Parish Chamber Singers and Maestro del Musico.
