In her Christmas message on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, Vice President Sara Duterte underscored the importance of sharing one’s blessings, noting that “every Christmas, our hearts are wrapped in the blessings brought to us by the birth of Jesus.”
Duterte, however, stressed that it can be difficult to make celebrations joyful amid the various challenges people face in their lives.
“Christmas will be more meaningful if we share God’s blessings with our neighbours, especially those who are struggling in life, who are sick, orphaned, and homeless, victims of disasters and violence, and the sectors experiencing neglect,” she said.
“From the beauty of our inner selves flow hope, fortitude, and faith. This is what will guide and strengthen us as individuals, as families, and as a nation,” the Vice President added.
“I wish you happiness with your family and loved ones. Let us also always pray for the blessing of peace and stability for our beloved country. Let us remember that a grateful heart is generous, loving, and forgiving.”
