SMC waives tolls for holidays
TOLLS on all SMC-operated expressways will be waived from 10 p.m. on 24 December until 6 a.m. on 25 December and from 10 p.m. on 31 December until 6 a.m. on 1 January 2026.

Motorists will save on toll fees as San Miguel Corp. (SMC) waives charges across its expressway network on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve to ease holiday travel.
The company said Monday that the toll-free period covers all SMC-operated expressways, including the Skyway System, NAIA Expressway (NAIAX), South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), STAR Tollway, and the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX).
Tolls waived
Tolls will be waived from 10 p.m. on 24 December until 6 a.m. on 25 December and from 10 p.m. on 31 December until 6 a.m. on 1 January 2026.
SMC Infrastructure said it has placed safety and security personnel on heightened alert to manage the expected surge in traffic.
Starting this weekend, additional patrol and security teams will be deployed in key areas, with emergency response units on standby.
Traffic monitoring centers
Traffic monitoring centers are operating around the clock, while roadworks that may affect traffic flow have been suspended from 20 December until 4 January 2026. Tow trucks and emergency vehicles have also been positioned at strategic locations.
SMC advisory for motorists
SMC Infrastructure advised motorists to plan trips, allow extra travel time, and ensure sufficient Autosweep balance to avoid delays at toll plazas.
The company said it is coordinating with local government units and national agencies to manage traffic on roads linked to the expressways.
